The Pew Project for Excellence in Journalism annual report was presented in the sixth edition, on the state of the news media in the United States

The State of the News Media 2009 was of the Pew Project for Excellence in Journalism annual report.
Among the more than three dozen readers and several researchers the analysis covered 69,942 stories to find out what news media covered.

The total was divided into 7,350 newspaper stories, 6,539 online stories, 19,796 network television stories, 21,892 cable news stories, and 14,365 radio stories.
Even the report was base on the excellence in Journalism…
Sadly at this point how we can turn people taste when actually the Drama, Violence & Gossip are favorite subjects for a successful stories ….

Since those assignments have more followers, with an increase in sponsorship and advertisement aside Special events in Show business and Sports.
But hardly  publishers, editors, programmers consider Journalism of Excellence in their issues or programming, to increase the understanding of the consumer about a better life.
Then using just common sense why new generations are so violent, dramatic and disrespectful?
Mass media side effect in combination with  people irresponsability to consume Excellence in Journalism….
There you have it !
